ABOUT ME: I was born and raised in Johannesburg and educated at Marist Brothers Inanda where I matriculated in 1977. I then spent 5 years in the South African Air Force qualifying as an Electronics’ Technician working on Mirage F1 fighters. During this time I was selected and played cricket for Northern Transvaal.I left the S.A.A.F to pursue a career in professional cricket, but a series of injuries saw to it that this career path had to be re-thought.I then got into sales in the sport retail and wholesale markets , spending 14 years managing 2 sport shops in Sandton.A career opportunity presented its self and in 1999 I co-founded the Branfin Group with Derek Liebenberg.I have been married for 25 years and have 2 daughters, both graduated at the end of 2009, one as a biokinetisist and the other as a beautician with a local and international qualification.
