ABOUT ME: I was born and raised in Johannesburg and educated at Marist Brothers Inanda where I matriculated in 1977. I then spent 5 years in the South African Air Force qualifying as an Electronics’ Technician working on Mirage F1 fighters. During this time I was selected and played cricket for Northern Transvaal.I left the S.A.A.F to pursue a career in professional cricket, but a series of injuries saw to it that this career path had to be re-thought.I then got into sales in the sport retail and wholesale markets , spending 14 years managing 2 sport shops in Sandton.A career opportunity presented its self and in 1999 I co-founded the Branfin Group with Derek Liebenberg.I have been married for 25 years and have 2 daughters, both graduate at the end of 2009, one as a biokinetisist and the other as a beautician with a local and international qualification.

ABOUT ME: I was schooled at Potchefstroom Boy’s High School where I matriculated in 1984. I then did my two years compulsory military training where I obtained the rank of Lieutenant. After my military training I went to university where I obtained my B/Compt degree and completed my accounting articles with Ernst & Young. I then worked as an accountant at Saco systems, then as Financial Manager at Ready Mix Materials which was a division of Murray and Roberts. After serving five years at Murray and Roberts I joined Bally Spits as the Financial Director before starting The Branfin Group in 1999. I am married with two daughters and have a B/Compt Honors degree and CFP.
